•We opened our full time drop-in centre in November 2005.
•We have one full time employee and 18 volunteers.
•We help and support anyone affected by cancer.
•We offer emotional support, outreach work at hospitals, hospices or at their homes as well as helping them understand their treatment and diagnosis.
•We do awareness raising workshops and Ipek 'Yolu' which is a six week workshop for cancer patients who have finished their treatment, and their carers. Ipek Yolu is a joint project with Macmillan.
•Our other joint project is the Breast Cancer Awareness project with Breast Cancer Care.
•We produced a radio play and leaflets in Turkish and English from this project.
•We also have an ongoing bone marrow donor campaign with Anthony Nolan Trust aiming to increase the number of donors from the Mediterranean ethnic background in the register.
•Our doors are open to anyone affected by cancer.
•We offer a free Web-Search service to anyone effected by cancer
